Inhaling - Inhaling LSD?

Is it possible to get the effects of LSD by breathing in above the bottle? (in the same way as you would use poppers)

Nope,not at all. Unless you had a bottle of pure powdered lsd and inhaled the powder,and even then im not sure if LSD is active when insulphated.

Not much point in any case, unless you're in a massive rush to get high. The bioavailability of oral LSD is high.

As a footnote, however: LSD "Inhalers" were quite common in psychiatric use in the early 60's and late 50's. It is said to be Dr. Grof's favorite method of ingestion. These inhalers were said to contain an average of ~120ug per burst and resembled closely the bronchial inhalers used by people with emphesema, asthma, and other lung-related illnesses.

Huffing a liquid vial would likely produce no detectible effects as the LSD crystals are fairly well locked inside the water and no vapors are produced by water unlike other huffables such as lighter fluid or gasoline.
