Swim is fairly happy with Ritalin because it remedies his problem of daytime drowsiness and improves his concentration span but he's wondering if its really worth taking Ritalin when he could be prescribed Adderall.

Are the health consequences associated with Adderall greater than those of Ritalin? In swims case the mental effects of amps beat those of methyphenidate 10 fold. The positive effects of Ritalin are mild whereas the positive effects of amphetamines are extreme. If swim takes a high dose of Ritalin the negative after effects outweigh the positive effects in duration by about 4 hours and in intensity by about 3 times. Amps on the other hand the ratio favors the positive effects.

Back to the initial question. Are amphetamines worse for your health than methylphenidate?

I think your post says it all. The MPH makes SWIY feel like garbage afterwards, whereas he finds Amphetamines to have much more positive results without negatives.

SWIY should learn to trust his gut more. Besides, if SWIY gets switched, and he does start to have any health issues, they'll be discovered during SWIY's next check up.

Everyone's different and while some people find MPH to be the best, others find that amphetamines are better. If the ritalin is causing daytime drowsiness significant enough to interfere with the positive effects, then he should look for an alternative treatment.

This isn't a Methly vs. Rital kind of inquiry, but moreso an inquiry inspired by an old chum that has figured out the "packagaing" of Concerta (rather how to undo the packaging), an XR methlyphenidate at 54mg, and this old chum just can't keep his hands off the bloody things!

Given that this is an old man - set in his ways, as you would - perhaps this blogetty blog could offer some insight into the dangerous effects of an un-sealed methyl XR capsule, cut up and snorted? Perhaps several times in one day, or 24 hour period, what have you.

Specifically, what will be the harm to this old chum's nose? Or even septum cartilage? And - most concerning of all, what symptoms should a concerned mate look for in the event of a heart problem!

I was talking to a fellow named Swimmy in another country at a caffetria and for no reason he came to my table sit down and out of nowhere started talking about this topic out . what a conediance!"
I could not have helped if i had not bumped into this swimmy fellow that i dont know or have never seen since.

Anyway Swimmy sad that he finds amphetamines better then ritalin but he find ritalin to be very good though and about 75% of the greatnes of amphetamines if used right.

swimmy told me that he snorts 30mg at once, then swimmy said a person should keep snorting small amounts (5mg) every 1-2 hours to prevent a horribul crash.That swimmy person recommned having benzos around if swimmy snorts 2 much and swimmy said he used benzos when the crash started to hit.

Swimmy said that snorting 2 much ritalin can be hellish painful and does not recmonned over 50mg at once, swimmy had a bad expernice with 60.

Swimmy also sad that you have to cut the powder very fine,he said to use pillcrusher because else the chunks will stuck in your nose cause nosebleeds and he also said that dont snort 2 hard because then the binders will go in your lungs whiched caused him to cough like a person with a flu.

Swimmy also said that you should not make the line too thick because because then its more likly they will get in the lungs, he said to have around 3mm thick at max.

Swimmy said that he never snorts concerta because its so much garbage filters, swimmy talked about a time relasing ritalin that he could used that have beads or little corn and he said he used a pillcrusher on them and then they worked fine and almost equaly to non time relasing.
