GBL withdrawal = seizures after 12 hours or so?? Please helpquick

Copied from the notes of a spacemonkey:

hi, a couple of weeks back i found myself doing lots of gbl for a couple of days and i decided to call it quits, and just stopped. that night, maybe 16 hours after my last dose i had a seizure and was hospitalised. i thought the seizure was due to other medication i took though!

Over the last 2 weeks ive started with the GBL again to sleep, and the last couple of days had high use again foolishly!

I stopped this morning at 7am and have felt off all day,

it's getting worse and im beginning to feel like im about to slip into that seizurey state again, and im very worried.

can someone who knows please quickly tell me what i should do!!

i have 20ml GBL left.

would it be wise to just have 1.5ml maybe? Would that prevent the seizures if they are a side affect of quitting.

But im also worried GBL will push my CNS activity too low & cause seizures!!

Please QUICKLY can someone let me know if the horrible shakey nastiness im feeling will be solved by slowly tapering off the GBL.

OR whether taking just a small bit of GBL & tapering off could actually push for a seizure, and im best to just stay as i am nd suffer through

PLEASE RESPOND QUICK!!

. . .End of notes of a spacemonkey.

Anybody unfortunate enough to have used GBL to withdrawal issue is usually best advised to taper off.

Not enough to get a buzz, just enough to reduce the anxiety.

Search through the forum for other users' GBL withdrawal discussions.

The seizure could be a result of a lack of potassium in your body.
Anyone who takes GBL over a certain period should be aware that GBL "consumes" Potassium and Magnesium in ones Body.
This it not the case with GBL intake.

Potassium is essential for the functioning of the muscles and nerves and seizure is just one of the consequenses of potassium deficiency.

Another consequense could be the stopping of the heartbeat also known as death.

A few days of gbl intake are in SWIM's opinion also not enough to create a physical GBL dependency.
