Effects - Will Kadian lessen withdrawl effects from Norco

SWIM has been taking vicodin 7.5, then Norco for close to two years.
Swim's dosage has increased from 6, 10/325 norco daily to 8-10 10/325 Norco a day for past 3 months. SWIM is in chronic pain due to a 2 level spinal fusion. Swim has no more Norco left.

SWIM has 30mg Kadian and Alprazolam .5mg

SWIM wanted to know if taking Kadian 30mg 3-4 times daily, and Alprazolam 5mg will help with reducing withdrawl symptoms?

SWIM hopefully just has to get through a few days till SWIM should be able to get Norco again.

Kadian is a time released morphine.It is "supposed" to last 24 which it usually dosn't for chronic users.Although 30mg. is a starting dose for many, it may be enough to hold SWIM over.The Xanax will also help with W/D's.Good Luck.

It should be very manageable with those kaidens. If i were you i would take 60mg, kaiden crush the balls and parachute, or if you need it to last you could take it anally, yes it sounds gross but orally you only absorb about 15% of morphine. If you take it rectally you can get up to 80%. And 60mg should easily hold you over for a day espiecally with the xanax. Take the extra 30 if you have too, but you shouldnt really need it. IMO anyway.
