Purity - should swim use the acetone wash for a small amount of cocaine ?

swim ordered 1g street cocaine.
and wonder if it is worth acetone wash?
the quality of cocaine in his country i normally very low.
so he is afraid to end up with nothing.
it also will be his first time to try the acetone wash method.

if your afraid to end up with nothing why even bother buying it.. Atleast if you wash it you know what you sniffing is actuelly coke.

It would be a waste in SWIMs opinion. One really needs a few grams to try it on, would be more practical. Though if SWIY is afraid to waste a gram then looks like SWIY might wanna waste the money on something else.

SWIM must disagree. In fact, SWIM started acetone washing with just a half gram. It was so good SWIM washed his other half gram in the same night.

SWIM has bought around 3g before, to save 2g for friends. SWIM ended up doing the whole lot in a night, washing half a gram at a time. However, SWIM modified Le Junk's process slightly, by hairdrying the lab filter with the cocaine in, and then leaving it under a 100w light for a few minutes to dry. That worked fine every single time.

And just FYI, SWIM's cocaine, weighed before the wash was 0.51g, when it came out it was 0.47g. That equates to a little over 92% yield for the wash, and that was consistent whenever SWIM did that particular cocaine. And the acetone didn't have the baked epsom salts added. Having said that, if SWIMs cocaine was cut it could've been a non acetone soluble cut. That said, it was absolutely fantastic either way.

It would not be practical, but SWIM believes it is best to try and practice with a gram for starters. So SWIY has a green light!

SWIM usually gets 1-2 ozs of fairy dust at a time, so it is a decent amount of monopoly money spent. SWIM gets the first oz of fairy dust, likes quality and comes back next day for another oz of fairy dust, and finds out a day later from the little fairys who like the fairy dust that it is bad fairy dust. SWIM is very mad, as this is an ongoing trend in the fairy dust buisness. Smell/Look is good of 2nd fairy dust, SWIM assumes it is the same, SWIM himself doesnt bother to check it literally. SWIM just wishes he could find a good little fairy dust shop where the fairy dust was of always decent quality. SWIM just wanted to vent /

Also, LEjunk or anyone who has knowledge, not someone who "thinks" I want someone who actually knows before SWIM risks losing a oz, would lejunks purification be worth it....SWIM thinks its same product as first good oz, prolly re rocked...

If SWIY did wash it (test with 1g to start with), then what does SWIY have to lose? Either SWIY discovers it's poor product and finds a better dealer, or SWIY has nice, cleaner cocaine. The best way to test the cocaine is to actually do it, short of using a GC/MS in a lab to test the purity. If SWIY follows the acetone technique properly then SWIY won't lose any cocaine at all, only the acetone souble cuts.

If you look at SWIMs post in the linked thread, SWIY will read that SWIM never waited for hours for it to dry, but SWIM was using proper lab filters. SWIM isn't sure, but perhaps if SWIY was using poor quality coffee filters then you may loose product if you dried it with a blowdrier like SWIM.
