Who also finds Arizona Meth Project (and others) beyond riddiculous!

Does anyone see the commercials or ads for example, AZ Meth Project. Since swim is in AZ she gets them a lot.

One ad swim gets a lot was hilarious!

"One time i was so high I was raped. Afterward, he gave me an eight ball. That's when I started selling my body for meth."

Like who would give you an 8 ball if they just raped you... How would that be rape??!?! lol!!! Bag hoes will fuck for a 20 sack, so why would someone pay that much for something they already got for free.

If it was rape, why would she take the ball?? Rape is supposably bad then why be like, "OMG! What a great idea! Sex for drugs?! I didn't realize how easy it was! Thanks for opening my eyes to a wonderful endevour." Wouldn't you be like not wanting to do just that with such a horrible experience. Also, who would stick around for a guy to give you a ball that just raped you, wouldn't you be fighting to get away and running straight to the police...

The other add I thought was funny was one of the commercials has these meth addicts ring this door bell to this family's house. They punch out the mom, everyone else in the house is just scared and the tweakers in the commercial JACK THE MICROWAVE! What the hell you going to get with a microwave?!?! Maybe jack the DVD player, or the Xbox 360. But no, not that, the big ass heavy microwave looks easier and more expensive to steal!

Like come on lol.

Re: Who also finds Arizona Meth Project (and others) beyond riddiculous!

There's a lot of new (equally ridiculous) anti-meth ads popping up in SWIM's neck of the woods as well...

Like there's this one where all these people are in a laundromat, just minding their business and shit, and this guy comes in and starts yelling and screaming and punching people - stealing all their little coins... then he runs up to this one guy (who is the "normal" version of the "tweaker") and goes "THIS WASN'T SUPPOSED TO BE YOUR LIFE!!!". SWIM actually thought this ad was a joke at first.

The other one (of about 6 SWIM's seen) that comes to mind is one with this one girl who goes to take a shower, and all of a sudden the water running down the drain is all dirty (or bloody, who knows)... anyway, this girl looks back and the "tweaker" version of her is sitting in the tub going "Don't do it... don't do it." Then the "real" her starts screaming like a banshee. This ad actually woke SWIM up out of a deep sleep in the middle of the night... thought it was a bad dream, until mentioning it to someone at work. This person just goes, "Oh, I've seen that too."

It's actually all very funny in retrospect.

Meth: Not even once!!!

Yeah, that is the same ads they have here. It originated as Montana Meth Project. They use all the same commercials for Arizona too.

What swim doesn't get is why they have the little logo make that awesome crack back sound. The crinkling sound.

Everytime swim sees that swim wants to get high!! They do that on purpose, someone who has never done meth would not even know what that means. So why?!?!

Swim got one of the rubber bracelets, like the ones they had for live strong cancer and stuff. It's black rubber and it says, "Not Even Once." Swim loves it swim never take it off! haha

Does anyone remember the old meth commercial from like the 90's. With the little meth theme song. Swim always sings it at people.

Look at me, busy as a bee
Where'd I get all this energy?
Oh meth. mmm meth.
I don't sleep and I don't eat
but I've got the cleanest house on the street
Oh meth. mmm meth
Get these hairs all out of my face
get these bugs all out of my place
one more hit, no time to waste
oh meth. mmm meth."

Gotta love the classics!

Re: Who also finds Arizona Meth Project (and others) beyond riddiculous!

The Federal and State anti-drug advertisements have always been laughable. I'm convinced that they actually end up encouraging illicit drug use in the youth.

Mainly because they put sooooo much emphasis on marijuana, which teenagers then discover for themselves to be harmless. Then the thought follows that the government told blatant lies about marijuana, so how the fuck could one trust them on "harder" substances. Thus, American youth looses trust in the government.

Alcohol Tobbacco and Pharm companies push these ads to differentiate between
Bad Drugs
and GOOD Drugs

AKA

Easily home-made cheap and addictive drugs vs Difficult to make lab grade expensive addictive drugs.
