Anal use - OxyContin Anal Usage.

15mg Roxicontin-(oxycodone) instant release tablets... these seem to dissolve easily in SWIMS mouth as soon as they go in.. SWIM was wondering if anyone has ever tried these rectally? SWIM has heard of some heroin users who have used Heroin this way, disolving it and inserting it into the anus. Can this be done with the instant release tablets? it seems like it would hit a bit harder and a bit faster. anyone?

We have a thread on rectal opiate usage around here. It's full of great info.

Rectal opioid use is an excellent admin method. Very efficient, and it has a nice warm, mild rush to it. With oxycodone, it's not going to make a huge difference because the bioavailibility is pretty much the same as oral usage. With other drugs, like say morphine, it can go from about 20-30% absorbed orally, vs. say, 50-60% rectally.

Swim can vouch very strongly that the rectal method is excellent.

Swim personally will rinse out the rectum with water a la enema style, then fill a small oral syringe with an water/opioid solution with no bubbles (they can cause gut pain) and inject far as possible up into the rectum. Hits in 5-10, 15max, peaks around 20-30min, and is done around 1 hour mark usually. It helps to lay still/on one's side while doing all this. Moving around/walking can cause solution to fall out.

As fiveleggedrat said, it's bioavaliability is almost the same so it's not worth it.you could snort them though, and that would probably increase it's potency.If you're going to take them orally just chew the tablets before swallowing and that should beat the time release mechanism.
