Snorting - Metadate

Hey, newbie here.

Today I saw a leprechaun swallow 20mg (1 pill) of metadate. He didn't know if it was ER, IR or whatever. He was jittery for a couple of hours with really no effects; he did, however, feel focused and ready to work.

I have a feeling he wants to try it again tomorrow, 40 mg (2 pills) this time. The metadate is one of those capsules that open to where you can dump the powder out. He'll probably snort the emptied contents...would this be safe? Also, he's never snorted anything before, so he kind of needs to know how. Can he just put a finger over 1 of his nostrils and snort through the opposite nostril? How hard should he snort? Will snorting too hard suck balls?

I'll make sure he gives any helpers a proper thank you.

Swim did a thread on the same topic a while back ... and the search didn't particularly bring any posts worthy of reading.

Swim doesn't know for sure the answer. The thing about this pill is that it has 2 types of mechanisms of delivery for the same medication. The instant release will hit you when snorted, but there is no (known) way of knowing if Swiy successfully disabled the Extended Release in the remaining part of the pill; so a)the methylphenidate will be able to go through the nasal membranes or b) Swiy just ate the pill through the nose and will get high of the drip in 30 min.

Swim is still hoping for someone out there to know too Swim also snorted some of these and was able to use three 10mg doses which where more effective than the complete 30mg ER pill. Swim doesn't know if he just go high of the little % available for instant release, but it worked

Swin just pulverized and grinded the pill contents until no more changes where visible.
