Purity - Toxic cocaine in Alberta

Just thought SWIM would give a heads up to cocaine users in Alberta. SWIM has been warned about this by a friend a few weeks back before the article even came out. As far as SWIM's friend knows, there's been 7 reported cases of this. On a side note, would someone enlighten SWIM as to what the solubility properties of levasimole are and how SWIM would go about removing the substance provided the acetone wash would not do the job?

Health agencies are warning Albertan street-drug users about cocaine laced with a toxic substance being sold in the province. Seven people from Red Deer to northern Alberta have developed suppressed immune systems after taking the cocaine. The resulting condition, agranulocytosis, leaves people unable to fight off infections. The condition can be fatal. Alberta Health believes that the cocaine may have been mixed with a chemical called levamisole, which is designed to treat intestinal worms in humans and animals.

Thats why you should always clean you cocaine,no matter how pure you thinkit is or your dealer says it is.
Its very simple to do,i think anyone who can follow basic direction could accomplish this task. If someone is local they should print these directions up and hand them out to friends and distribute to the local needle exchange.

i have a theory on who the people are who distribute toxic product...

heres my example behind my theory:

some extremist PETA members will kill an animal, and say it was for the best so that the animal wouldnt be tested on to better humanity

i think its probably those evangelical "super" christians(like the ones from the Jesus Camp movie)(and im not really saying its super christians doing it, but its probably some extremist party), they justify their actions by saying "we will manufacture and distribute toxic product, because we need to kill the crack heads and coke fiends by poisoning their product"

another bullshit case of "the end justifies the means"...no matter how insane it is...

This is just sick. The people responsible for this sort of thing deserve worse than death.

Just another reason to legalize and regulate drugs, but that is another thread entirely...
