Drug info - got Promethazine-DM, tryin to trip safely

Alright so my freshman year of college, two years ago, I spent on average 4 nights a week tripping on DXM. Over the counter, store brand, maximum strength tussin. I know that there was a lot of stuff to watch out for like guafinessin (sp?) and acetomeniphen (sp?). I just picked up a presciption for Promethazine-DM at the pharmacy. I haven't tripped in over a year and I have never tripped on this before. Please help I have no idea what's in this and my research is going nowhere. I'm starting to to get antsy and I want to just down this bottle but I have no idea what else is in prometh that isn't good to take.

Promethazine is an antihistimine. You don't want to overdose on those. They cause delirium. Besides that, combining them with DXM is unsafe. As in, unsafe in the body. Simple as that.

Don't drink that shit. It's not safe to use recreationally as a DXM product.

SWIM agrees with Five. It's not a good idea to use this for recreational doses. SWIY should get a DXM only containing product for that.

However, what you have their could be VERY useful should you get your hands on some opiates. A regular dose or maybe just a X2 dose (no more necessary) would be a great potentiator for some opiates/oids.

SWIM would save it for this reason.
