Drug Information for a Novella.
Hello everyone, I come to you seeking to be informed and to learn.
I'm writing a novella, and in the story a girl gets into a sticky situation where two guys have her in a compromising position that she'd rather not be in. In order to get out of this situation, my idea is to have the girl slip some type of drug into the bottle of champagne that causes the two guys to freak out and/or no longer feel like continuing on their current course of action(Of a sexual nature). I have one problem with my story idea - I have NO idea about any drugs(Never taken any). So if you, or a friend, could inform me of any type of drug that might fit the story, I'd really appreciate it. 1: Can be taken in a liquid. 2: Semi fast effecting. 3: Would put the two guys into a state that they'd no longer feel like abusing this girl. 4: A drug in low doses that doesn't last long. 5: A drug that has some(easily) obtained counteractive. Are there any drugs that fit the above? Thanks. |

Re: Drug Information for a Novella.
Swim will not pretend to know a lot about drugs but from the info swim does know LSD would be a possible solution. LSD can come in liquid form, and from most experiences swim has read most people don't feel very sexual on it. The two men would probably "freak out" too since they wouldn't know what was happening to them. The only problem is LSD can take some time for onset and possibly last somewhere around 12 hours...soooo maybe not the greatest suggestion. There isn't necessarily a counteractive either, but administering anti-psychotics and/or sedatives can negate the experience from what swim has read.
Another choice might be ketamine, as it is hard to be sexual if one is knocked out, hallucinating, or floating above their body.. If swim remembers correctly ketamine is relatively short acting, but swim would need to do some more reading. Not sure about any countermeasures either...Swim will try and think of some more suggestions. |

Re: Drug Information for a Novella.
How 'bout they drink the champagne, she lets on that she's spiked it with something (why not MAKE UP a drug, with freaky unheard-of effects - you can even invent a cool chemical name for it!), they guys start tripping or otherwise freaking out, she makes good her escape and...turns out there was no drug in the first place, but she was so convincing in her description of the effects and pharmacology (perhaps all three of them are pharma or neuroscience students?) the guys brought on the symptoms by themselves via autosuggestion? In other words, a kind of extreme placebo effect - and they may have been somewhat suggestible just from drinking the wine, who knows.
Hell, I'm getting into this, why don't I just write the story for you...? ![]() |

Re: Drug Information for a Novella.
How about closing this thread now? Conversations like this on an open forum can only lead to bad places, & questions such as the one posted always make me feel uneasy, as the information could be used for some seriously dodgy means. How are we to know this is not a way of finding the information in order to have this actually happen? The information you seek is out there, but put in this context in this environment is not a good idea.
Please find another way of finding this information, like doing some proper research! Last edited by Micklemouse; 18-11-2008 at 22:10. |

Re: Drug Information for a Novella.
These sorts of questions have been posted before & almost always end up closed &/or deleted.
To my mind there can be no benefit of the doubt when it comes to subjects of this nature, especially when put in this manner. |
