Dose - Dissolving Adderall XR

SWIM is wondering if, as an alternitive to crushing all the little beads in adderall XRs, if SWIM could just dump the pill into a soda or water or something else drinkable. Theoretically if SWIM waited 24 hours or something even the extended release beads would dissolve, correct? Has anyone tryed this?

SWIY would think so - and SWIY would be wrong.

Nothing frustrates SWIM as much as those orange beads from hell. . .try as he might, SWIM can't find a decent way to dissolve XR without the help of lye and a good organic base (SWIM prefers chloroform - it's heavier than water so the good stuff sinks to the bottom)

Now, SWIM is looking for an easy way to prep for injection. "...needle before the dope" and all that. And, if SWIY wants to hear about it - SWIM's tried dozens of different ways and had dozens of different results (none actually worked)

If SWIY is looking for a way to dissolve XR and drink it - think coffee, beer, or good ol' Coca Cola. Coke's got enough acid in it to dissolve meat (literally) so, XR dissolves in about 30 min - give or take.

Probably not the best idea to try to disolve adderall XR pellets in coke. Under accidic conditons your stomach will absorb less of the Adderall that you try to drink. The way SWIM would think to be the best way to get your moneys worth would be to just try disolving the pills in regular water. If it works than you have disolved Adderall, if not then your either gonna need to try to dry the pellets off and do something else or just drink and enjoy, even if it dosent work you could allways just filter the water though your teeth then try to chew up as many pellets as you can without swallowing. if you have extra to spare on an experiment like this then you may want to just go ahead and try both at once, however when you attempt to disolve it in the coke eat or drink something small and basic when you take it to help neutralize the acid and improve absorbtion.

From what ive read also eating something like antacids after you have taken the Adderall will allow your body to reabsorb the amphetamines while being processed into urine in your kidneys, so taking a few antacids when you take it orally will improve the absorbtion and regardless of the method of administration i will keep them in your system longer.
