Effects - Ritalin Crash - How Longs it Take?

Swim thought the side effects of Ritalin didn't apply to him but he found out that was only cuz he was doing it at around 6 or 7 PM and he'd go to bed around 10 so he'd go to be when the crash was coming on. When swim tried doing Ritalin in the morning he started feeling like shit around 3PM and tried taking more Ritalin to counteract it but it didn't work. Swim was filled with this stress and only a very high dose of Ritalin got rid of it.

Swim likes Ritalin and appreciates the benefits it gives swim but swim wonders if its really worth it when he could be taking amphetamines instead. The amphetamine crash doesn't come on for a good 8+ hours from swims experience and isn't half as harsh as the Ritalin crash. Swim should also mention amphetamines provide a better longer lasting euphoria so he doesn't feel the urge to top up ever.

Any opinions?

Being freshly diagnosed with AD(H)D himself swim appreciate reading about others relation with different stimulant treatments.
Are swiBH on the XR type? Swim think he read that somewhere in swiHB's previous postings. Swim gor the IR ones because in his country they are dirt cheap, but he suspect the XR ones equally suck

Sounds pretty much how swim experience his Ritalin(IR)
It seems that after his first dose of the day(which helps moderately), the following doses only help with treating the side effects from the first dose

Swim says NO it's not worth it when amphetamines are an option. He talked to his mindrapist earlier and he will change to Adderall.

Absolutely 100% true. They have a much better "effect curve" also here when we are talking medical use and not just as a crazy party drug.

Swim is fortunate enough to have a small amount of Methamphetamine available, and he reports that when taken orally in the morning and at low doses it helps his days greatly. He reported that i.e. ~10mg at around 7.00AM would help him all throu his day at work and to the evenings.

He specially would like to mention the much more gentle way it "lands" swim. He can tell at some point in his day that the effects start to subside, but it is so much more tapered of than with Ritalin.

Swim don't know for sure if meth and regular amphetamine are totally compareable, but he suspect they are tho... He will find out then his psyco_the_rapist finally get around to prescribe him addies.

So swims not the only one that gets effects like these from Ritalin. Exactly swim noticed that the first dose of the day swim will feel good and even a bit euphoric but about 3 hours later swim gets stressed and gets headaches and feels real bad in general very similar to a bad meth comedown that one would get after staying up days on the stuff. If swim takes meth in the morning and doesn't redose he feels good the whole day and starts getting tired around 10-11 and goes to bed and wakes up the next morning feeling fine. With Ritalin he feels like shit after 3 hours.

Ritalin like all drugs is a tool if used right but swim thinks its not a durable tool and is only good for certain occasions when nothing else is available. Opiates have way more beneficial effects on swim and he thinks they probably have less harmful effects. May just be paranoia but swim has been getting mild pains on his right side just below his rib cage and he thinks it might be his liver having difficulty dealing with the Ritalin. Swim read that Ritalin is pretty hard on the liver. He'll do more research on this before he jumps to any conclusions though.

SWIM used to take Ritalin daily, everything from 10mg to 70mg. Snorting, plugging or oral but he never really had any kind of crash or harsh comedown if he remembers correctly.

However, when his mindrapist finally pulls her head out of her ass and decides to actually test him for AD(H)D he'll be sure to add to this thread with experiences.

Swim's been thinking for a while now, that Ritalin is used only because amphetamines have such a bad... well name ?
It's like they had to find something that acted like a sentralstimulant, but did not have a name that ended in amine.

Well guess it works for some people.
