Opinions - Morphine or weak hydrocodone?

SWIM has been presented with the prospect of scoring either some morphine tabs of different variety or 7.5/500 hydrocodone, hell maybe some of both. SWIM was just wondering what some people's opinions are regarding what he should get. He likes morphine but hates the oral bioavailability and hasn't decided to try plugging yet. Would it be a better high(more euphoric/etc.) to just do a CWE to a bunch of hydrocodone and consume that than getting a bunch of morphine?

I would prefer the morphine. Depending on how much of each is available, of course.

Avoid both of them like the plague, unless you want to risk selling your soul to the devil. Please listen, I know you won't, but when I tried morphine about your age (a little bit younger) I liked it too much. Now 20 years later, I'm only 20 days away from my last use of opiates. Think! Is it really worth the risk? I know "it won't happen to you", "you'll be careful", yada, yada, yada. You think I started out thinking "oooh can't wait to get a habit to experience those yummy withdrawal symptoms". Smoke some weed, get drunk. Opiates are a true life-style choice for most people, and you better believe it, it's a pretty ropey choice, although one of the first things that goes with opiate use is your ability to be honest with yourself. So chances are you'll drift off into the land of addiction and not even know it until it's too late. Sure, if you've not touched them before, you've got a grace period. I've seen a few turn back, but I'd reckon your odds are no better than 50/50. Is it worth it for what is now only a hypothetical buzz? Chances are it won't even be that nice first time out. Yeah, you're 19, curious, on top of the world, or sufficiently insecure that the killing of painful emotions sounds like a godsend (that was one of my biggest draws to opiates), etc.

Sorry but I've got to try to warn you. In answer to your question the morph will be nicer (mg/mg) even with the low oral bioavailability, and if you go for the hydro, be careful with the paracetamol (I think you guys call it acetaminophen or APAP), it's very bad for the liver in higher doses.

Please, please, please (ad nauseam) take a rain check. This could be the worst decision you'll ever make. Consider taking some acid or some magic mushrooms or anything else if you've got to experiment. There are enough weird and wacky chemicals mentioned on here. Opiates are dangerous (not physically, but they will turn a Dr Jekyl into a Mr Hyde), so is crack cocaine, and I'm not exactly convinced that long term (meth-)/amphetamine use is all that great. If it goes tits up, come back in ten years and ask for some help, when you're ready. If it goes well, my hat's off to you. But believing it will be alright is no voucher for it being alright.

Sorry to be a comedown, but don't get into opiates on a whim. It's not big, it's not hard, it's not clever. In fact it's fucking stupid.

SWIM is an odd duck in that he prefers hydrocodone to morphine and even oxycodone. SWIM has found hydrocodone to be much more euphoric, especially when compared to morphine. Morphine gives SWIM a drugged, dopey, sedated feeling whereas hydrocodone makes SWIM feel alive and euphoric. SWIM would go with the hydrocodone but most would probably choose the morphine.

Dickon, Although my use of opiates is far from what I would consider 'experimental', thanks for the concern you've shown. I appreciate it.
