Drug info - Amphetamine drug testing

So. Swim has a drug test in probably about a week. So he decided it was okay to take a few mixed amphetamine salt tablets...so about 80mg total over one night.

Now, since water doesn't help clense THC from the body because THC is fat soluble, and it just dilutes the urine. Would it be true that since amphetamines are water soluble, that drinking lots of water would help remove the drug quicker? Or not? Swim isn't going to keep doing them after noon tomorrow. Just to make sure he's ahead of the game. And he will be consuming water. But he can't seem to find any information to answer this question.

So does anybody know for a fact if water will just dilute the urine, or will it actually remove amphetamine significantly faster from the body? I'm assuming the latter is at least partially true in this case, unlike with marijuana.

i would imagine a water soluble molecule would be excreted in the urine quite quickly. I think its safe to think this to be true, but i don't know for sure. Have you checked erowid?

I've checked this site, other drug forums, erowid, searched a million different things on google, nothing. I find lots of places telling you to drink water before a test..but that's sort of obvious and it doesn't specify if it's for dultion or for removing the drug faster. Yet there is so much information on marijuana drug testing. I mean. Unless some freak accident happens and they call earlier than expected(they said it usually takes at least 10 days or so before swim get called for his physical and drug test...so he should be good)...swim will pass without a doubt. He should get at least 5 whole days for it to clear out. Since he's not regularly consuming amphetamines. But he would really like to know for sure. He doesn't want to drink water every hour for the next few days for nothing =/

Your piss should be clean after a day or two after using amphetamines on only one occasion.

yes water solubl drugs such as amhetamine and opiates are rapidly excreted thru the unrine due to thier solubilty in water. now drgs like cannabis and benzos pose mre of a problem...

I know but that's not what I'm looking for. I want to know, with scientific evidence, whether or not drinking extra water itself would actually increase the speed of that process substantially. Swim is resisting his extreme temptation to use amphetamines because he can't take any chances with this job. Not to mention that it has free medical insurance so he'll get all the cheap legal adderall he wants after a while there. From the research he's done, amphetamines appear to stay in body organs too and not just in bodily fluids. So does anybody have evidence or any scientific reason to if water will speed up the process. Not just dilute the urine, but actually get rid of amphetamine metabolites faster. This is moreso for future reference, as he doesn't want to use amphetamines on his 3 day weekends and know they MIGHT be there after 4 or 5. But drinking water could fix this.
