Combinations - LSD + Neurontin (Gabapentin)

If swim take about 2100 mg of gabapentin and 300 mg of dxm tomorrow will he be okay to take lsd on thursday?
Do either of these drugs have any effect on lsd trips? Like a lessining of tripping?

Since gabapentin's effects focus on numbing neural pain instead of regulating mood, I'd say it's a good possibility that it wouldn't interfere. There is a chance, however, that it could because the method of action of neurontin is unknown. SWIM has taken neurontin and other nerve-related medications without interference.

As for the DXM, it wouldn't do much pharmacologically (and biologically) to inhibit an LSD experience. There is a chance, though, that the DXM experience itself could weaken an LSD experience simply due to the fact that the brain will be used to a dramatic shift in consciousness.

There are a lot of variables here too as regards what you take the neurontin for, how often you take DXM, how familiar you are with psychedelics (DXM is not a psychedelic), etc.


My personal theory is that the LSD experience would be weaker for someone who had just come out of a changed state of consciousness vs. someone who took it with a "sober consciousness". SWIM usually allows at least a week to pass between high-level conscious-shifting experiences, no matter if the substance is the same/works the same way or not.
