Implanted Pain Infusion Pump
Swim has been in chronic pain many years as you know, Swim was asked by the Doctor if he would be interested having the Pain infusion pump (http://www.medtronic.com/neuro/ttp/treatment_pump.html) implanted. Swim is wondering if there is anyone here who has experience with this product and would they be interested in sharing experiences regarding install procedure, how it interacts with your body, and is it helpful for pain relief. Swims would be filled with dilaudid medication. Any help offered would be greatly appreciated by Swim....

Swim knows of a couple of people that got these things. Heard of both good and bad experiences with them. I would sure do some more research on this device.

Yes, please research these in depth before getting one done. Mostly look for reviews/experiences.

This device is not the abuser or recreational user, IMO.
