Combinations - Tramadol+Adderall

Swim is considering combining adderall XR with tramadol. is this awesome, or a bad idea?

hmm well traditionally mixing uppers and downers is a bad idea. siwms main worry would be not overdoign either as tramadol lowers ur seizure threshhold and swim is pretty sure adderall mite too. also, swim thinks he heard uppers and downers together also lower the threshhold. but swim isnt all to sure. more adivce or swiy expieiinces would prolly be more helpful.

np bro, so does anyone know if mixing uppers and downers in general is very harmful? i saw a thread by Mr.G bout this a while ago and ill try and find it but does anyone have and positive or negative expirince wih this combo?

I'm pretty sure it's not AS bad as most people say. I'm pretty sure that's just health class/DARE propaganda. The biggest immediate problem is generally "Okay. I feel really relaxed. I can take more uppers" "Oh shit I overdosed now my heart is pounding and I'm having a fucking seizure." Or "I took more downers than usual because I'm so up and awake," and then the uppers wear off and the person's heart stops because they overdosed on downers. It just sorta delays overdose... I've also heard of it causing cardiac arrhythmia...but I'm not 100% sure on that. I know I heard that in health class...but that's it... Swim has done it LOTS of times without problems...but he's a healthy young individual without much of a family history of heart problems(except those with extremely high blood pressure for a long period of time because they were so fat and smoked 2 packs a day and didn't take blood pressure meds).

Another problem I could foresee is if somebody overdoses, let's say they overdosed on the stimulant. "Okay let's take a few valiums and snort a quarter gram of some coke." They OD on the coke. What do the medics usually give somebody in that situation? A benzo. What's going to happen if they already took a bunch of benzos or heroin or any other depressants in a decent amount? They're going to overdose on the depressant during or after the stimulant wears off.

There are lots of things that could happen. In general. If swiy is careful....as careful as one can be with hard drugs anwyay...it might not be that dangerous. But in an overdose situation, it's going to be significantly more fatal. Not to mention the cardiac arhythmia deal? Anybody care to elaborate on that with evidence? Not like stimulants don't contribute to that themselves...

This is not a simple issue of combining uppers and downers. This is an issue of Tramadol lowering the seizure threshold and then swiy having a seizure or stroke after taking stimulants.

I forgot to comment on the tramadol. but yeah. Seizures up the ass. I saved somebody at work from doing that about a month ago...

Adderrall XR itself is in general pretty hardcore stuff. SWIM had an Rx for 20mg XR and he just couldn't take it. Every time he tried to do so he ended up wigging out internally and experienced what seemed to be heart palpitations and chest pain. Anxiety from hell. XR seems like a completely different entity.

I don't think XR can be taken safely at all, let alone with a downer.
