Beta blockers and LSD

Swims friend is prescribed propranolol for anxiety attacks which are only brought on by psychedelics.

The friend is taking long break from psychedelics but when he does decide to trip again, is considering taking a small dose of propranolol beforehand to help avoid a potential attack.

Swim would like to find out if there are any interactions between LSD and beta blockers.

Thanks

Sorry to lay a bummer on your friend, but this just sounds like a Time magazine article waiting to happen. Someone in his very sensitive condition, a condition brought on specifically by the use of psychedelics should promptly turn down any and all offers to take any form of psychedelic for the rest of his life. I know that's not what you were asking, but it would be irresponsible for someone not to say it.

Why would he want to put himself in that kind of situation? It has such a high risk for psychosis.
