Hypothetically, what would be the difference in final product if swim used pse base in a I2/rp reaction compared to using pse hcl ?

In short No, speaking hypothetically if the cook is highly skilled if not then hypothetically and a hot tip is that a backyard hobbiest should work with hcl for maxium yields and to avoid wasting the whole batch.
