Experiences - DOC experience and question

This is going to sound like a rather weird experience post but it's good to finally stumble across some info on DOC.
AFOAF, lets call her Anna, came across some DOC a few weeks ago. She often gets stoned during the weekday and indulges in stimulant fueled weekends. She takes mdma, pills and when her purse allows it, a bit of coke. However there's nothing she likes better than hallucinogenics.
Now having never heard of DOC before this, she meets with a close friend who moved away and who she doesn't get to see often. Lets call this friend Sarah.
Now Sarah asked Angie if she'd like to go back to hers later, smoke some weed and maybe take some hallucinogenics. Anna thinks this sounds like a good idea and also invites her friend Fiona.
So they have a spliff or two, it's a nice warm evening and Sarah asks if they want some DOC. When Anna and Fiona ask what it is, Sarah replies, "It just makes everything happy and..you'll see"
So they do, perhaps a bit stupid after having no idea what the drug was, but Anna trusts her friend.
And so they lick their fingers, take what reminds Anna of a bit less than a line of cocaine, but different in colour and texture, make a well in the bottom of their mouth with water, finger in mouth and swallow. Anna thought it tasted foul.
So they have another spliff and decide to sit down and watch a movie while they wait to come up. During the movie Anna becomes aware of colours starting to seem midly brighter and she is finding it increasingly hard to concentrate on the film and would much rather interact with those around her. They stop the movie before the end and go outside for a cigarette. When they sit down to roll Fiona is acting strangely but not in a negative way. They enjoy the warm evening for a while outside, chatting and smoking. Anna becomes aware of how bizarre she feels, the colours in the garden are so much more intense. The leaves are lush and the flowers are radiant and glowing, everything feels completely wonderful and completely abnormal. They giggle alot, moving to various parts of the garden and sitting amongst the flowers having conversations that wouldn't make sense to a sober person.
A few hours pass and the feeling is still very much there, Anna remembers it being pitch black outside and complaining with Fiona about how she wanted to sun to rise. They then got up and walked through the kitchen and into the sitting room, where they looked out the window and it was fully light outside. What they did in the kitchen in a mystery to them after the experience.
Anna notices how she is not experiencing extreme visuals at all, but the drug is instead working inside her head. She finds is difficult to explain what she she is saying to Fiona and Sarah and finds herself talking to herself on visits to the loo. However Fiona and Sarah are exactly the same, muttering to themselves, confused, giddy and wide awake.
The only negative thing Anna says she found with DOC was quite a while into her experience she started to despise herself and kept trying to hide all parts of her body. She felt like her skin was dirty and she looked awful. Anna is not usually an insecure person so this was quite out of the blue.
The problem was quickly solved by showering (which she describes as a WONDERFUL feeling)
After around 15 hours Sarah goes to sleep on the sofa, but Fiona and Anna are still high so they go outside and smoke a few joints. The DOC worked with Anna's brain the longer she was on it, everything gradually got more confusing but slightly less colourful.
Anna and Fiona did not stop feeling the drug until a full blown 24 hours later. In the last few hours Fiona was extremely confused and said she,
"Just wanted to sober up."
Anna walked her back to hers, then returned to her own home, where she just enjoyed the last hour or so of the drug before falling asleep.
Anna was wondering if anyone else had experienced something similar, not seeing as many visual hallucinations but found that their head felt really complicated, confused and felt that everything was incredibly surreal?

This is not at all uncommon. The only caution would be: Don't expect this to be the case should there be a next time. The nature of psychedelics is such that they are never (or rarely at least) the same twice. Could be it will be extremely visual with little internalization effects. But the other Wombat gets full-on psychic effects only.

swim once ate tab of doi and had NO VISUALS jsut a really weeeeird knda hard to explain head trip. like very confused kinda like u described. so no it wsnt unusual.

Thanks, swim enjoyed the experience alot, was just wondering about all the confusion!
Do you think if swim took DOC again it perhaps be different?

As the gent above pointed out, and then again with a "do you read the posts mother f*****!" SWIM is very high, sorry thought previous comment was comical. Now to the point SWIM has experienced a consistent experience(s) with DOC that seems only to really change when dosage is increased. In regards to confusion, SWIM can experience a sense of that on other 2c-x's, but DOC will put SWIM in a "mindless stupor" when SWIM takes 8mg or more, communication, verbally, is near impossible. SWIM can also have periods where SWIM is completely detached from reality, i.e walking through sand and feeling the sun. In reality I'm standing in my front room running my bare feet through the carpet. Confusion can reach a point sometimes for SWIM that he cannot recall what the fuck is going on for perhaps 20 + minutes at a times or longer while on higher doses, this seems to be a form of confusion.

But as the previous poster pointed out it can vary. Out of SWIMS 12 plus DOC experiences he did have one where he was so overwhelmed, as all SWIM's failures were before him all at once, from childhood to present. SWIM wanted to cease living, he could see no valid justification for his existence, SWIM was bawling for several hours if SWIM would have had a gun he said he would have ended his life. SWIM has never had suicidal ideations, nor been on any anti-depressants/SSRIs. Never happened again after that, although in retrospect SWIM was not in the right mindset before that particular experience the mind is amazing
