Drug info - Does speed have a best before date?

Swim was wondering whether or not speed has a best before date? He has had some left from the previous time, this was over a month ago. It was previously pastey, but now, it has become more salt like and has small solid lumps in, sparkles of crystals can be seen also. It wasn't left out in the open, it was wrapped up in a bit of plastic bag and left in a cupboard. So he was just wondering if this would still be okay to use, and if anything would have changed with it?

It should be fine, the use by date of amphetamines (as on swim's dexedrine bottle) is in the years after purrchase.

amphetamine sulphate (base) like what is so common in the UK, will indeed degrade if not stored properly. Not sure exactly why this happens but swim knows from experience that potency diminishes greatly as it dries and oxidises. To extend life, seal well and refrigerate. Otherwise use within 1-2 weeks.
