Pharmacology - Conversion of Codiene to Morphine

SWIM would like to know, most of the OTC products in the UK seem to contain codiene with Paracetomal. Now SWIM has read that only products containg Asprin can be used, as asprin is not very soluble in water. Is this true? Can SWIM convert a product containg codiene and Paracetomal to morphine? Any suugestions on good OTC products available in th UK?

Swim finds it amazing how somebody with the chemistry know how to be able to convert codine into morphine by means of demethylation is unable to answer the above question .swiy use the search engine ,and stop asking variations of the same question..

Mate, how is not similar? It asks how to convert codeine to morphine, as do virtually all the other threads posted under this username. The only difference is this asks about product with paracetamol.

The information your monkey has been given is incorrect. Products with paracetomol can be used, as paracetamol is also not very soluble in water, & a simple extraction is outlined several times on these boards - a clue for the search: extraction, water, cold. Jumble them up, run it through the search engine & see what comes out.

I'm not aware of any products containing aspirin & codeine, but there are plenty of codeine & paracetamol preparations - again, use the search engine.

Anybody feeding this troll links to the above information will get their nose flicked.
