Experiences - Taking high dosage of NaGHB without real effect

SWIM made NaGHB according MrG recipe and everything worked out well.
GBL used was supplied by professional lab supplier and bottles state its >99% purity. NaOH used was supplied as food-grade but unknown purity, assumed >99%

SWIM grinded the solid NaGHB to powder and then diluted it (4gr NaGHB on 5ml dH2O, actually 160gr diluted with some dH2O and then topped till 200ml) It tastes salty, it is clear, its oily, so SWIM assumes its NaGHB.

SWIM never had taken NaGHB before so took first dose of 2,5ml (=2gr) without hardly any result.

Next day SWIM took 5ml (=4gr) and felt dizzy for an hour or two but nothing else. SWIM took another 5ml (=4gr) 2 hours after the first dosage but again nothing more then dizzy. SWIM noted he started talking a little bit more then usually but no euphoric feeling. Certainly not what he expected.

Whats going on, has SWIM some sort of tolerance to NaGHB or is his NaGHB not working well ?

Addendum: Why SWIM wanted to take 2gr for the first time is because SWIM noted that recommended GHB dosage is 1,5gr but SWIM uses NaGHB and NaGHb is about 20% more heavier the GHB (caused by the Na component) so SWIM did 1,5gr GHB * 120% is almost 2gr NaGHB.

Swim had the same problem with gbl.Swim took his normal shots of 2,5 and 1ml boosts.Swim didnt dose in like 1-2hours before going to sleep and the effect had worn of almost completely.Then swim took his sleepytime shot of 1,5ml and went to bed he didnt get any effects from it at all.

After swim had 2 hour of sleep without gbl he woke up feeling weird.Then he decided to take 2,5ml shot and again there was no effect..Swim doesnt know whats wrong with him..Gbl has worked very good for swim in the past

The following is a transcript from a short and very incriminating story I read recently:

i just got on the g-train recently, ive been taking it every couple of days, usually to chill out to and play records after work, sometimes at work when i feel like being cheeky...i usually take about 2-4mls and get nicely messy within 20mins

i had a bit of a session at my place with some mates the other night, took 2 mls, felt nothing... an hour later i took 2 more mls...felt nothing... had some ecstacy, still not feeling the G at all... had 4 mls thinking somehow my G must have gone bad, an hour passed..nothing

bored, i went for a drive and we all got some take away, as i was driving home, like a smack in the head with a sledge hammer the G hit it in, and hit in hard, bear in mind it had been about 5 hours since my first dose

i felt dizzy, very nausious, i could barely talk, i was sweating like a fiend, stumbling about and barely holding consciousness... very strange that it would stay off for 5 hours then come hit me all at once - another valuable lesson learned in drug tolerance, i felt like i was flaking badly, and was happy when i woke up not in hospital

The tolerance is weird.

SWIM takes 4g of solid GHB and SWIM will pass out about 1.5 hours later
SWIM's friend takes 6g of solid GHB at once and does not even feel the heavy dose effects.

SWIM also finds that his tolerance is much higher than listed here. He's made a fresh batch of G and diluted it so that 2ml = 1gm. SWIM says a dose of 8ml (4gm) certainly feels euphoric, and lasts about 2hrs, but he feels he could take a little more as a first dose, maybe 10ml (5gm), based on past experiences. But this is more than a prescribed dose of Xyrem (4.5gm), and he feels that maybe he's already hanging out too closely to the pass-out line.

Anyone know SWIY who regularly takes more than 5gm as a first dose?

swim misuses this drug slightly differently as he doesnt know the actual doses they use, but usually the same amount every weekend as its in solid they not sure mg/ml

but it is usually guaranteed that some one will be falling asleep. certain people think their tolerance is higher and they are the ones usually getting knocked out
