Hello everyone!

First of all, SWIM apologize if this is in the incorrect forum - he am not quite sure where to place this thread.

Anyway, recently SWIM had a great introductory experience with magic mushrooms. SWIM has done LSA before, but wasn't really too intense. The reason SWIM does psychedelics is to learn about life and himself. His friends also do them, but get much greater experiences with the same dose. SWIM's question is, why are they getting greater experiences than he is. Also, what should he be thinking in order to be taken away to different places to learn and discover.

SWIM is sorry if the question isn't clear, he can clarify if this makes no sense.

The psychedelic experience is what you make of it. What others may describe as fantastic may be what exactly you experience only you don't put it in grandiose terms. SWIM has a few friends who've been guilty of somewhat over-romanticising the entire experience to the point where people expect to see the pink elephants. The pink elephants are a myth. Psychedelics create powerful introspective insights, not fantasy worlds.

Incidentally, are you on any form of medication? If not, perhaps you simply have a higher natural tolerance to psychedelics.

could'nt of worded it better nature boy. was also going to say how smurf used to feel the same when he started & was told by 'apparent' trippers about these pink elephants & things & also waited for them to appear. by waiting, wanting & wondering too much about these kind of things you are actually distracting yourself from enjoying the full potential of your psychadelic experience. some people act differently, where as swey is more chill not over exagerating as much perhaps? some people such as swey could feel content with alot about themselves & life already?

Yea that makes sense. Thank you guys so much, I'll do a higher dosage next time and just let it flow without thinking about trying to make it more than it is. I really appreciate it =)
