Oral use - codeine clarification

so swim has like 12 tylenol 3's with 30 mg of codeine each. what is a good amount to use for cold water extraction. Swim did CWE once before with 6 pilss and got no buzz, and he thinks it cause too much water was used to dissolve the pills. so lets say with 8 pills, how much water should be used?

i know CWE is covered to death, and maybe hes just dumb but he hasnt found a definite answer to how much water should be used. Hes seen some manuals that say 40 mls for like 20 pills which seems like nothing at all. 40mls is less than like half a shot, but hes also seen pics and stuff where a full drinking glass is used so hes not sure.

If only 7 pills are being used (T3's) is CWE even necassary? that would be 210mg of codeine and just under 2000mg of acap stuff... but really it would be great to know for sure hoe much water use for just 7 pills.

Codeine phosphate disolves in room temperature (25 deg C) wather at a rate of 25g for every 100ml in about 10 minutes (the duretion is my personal guess). About 65% of the codeine is desolved in one go.

The recomended 2ml of wather per pill is more then enough. I've heard that this mark is given becouse of all the binders in the pill. SWIY should follow it, as you say he did so far.

Paracetamol/acetaminofen and ibuprofen - the other active ingredients ussualy associated with codeine in OTC medicine - also disolve in wather, at a very small rate however (about 1,4g for every 100ml for paracetamol). If someone cares about his liver and stomach these should be given as little wather to disolve in as possible.

As most other psichoactives, it takes a while for you to feel codeine's full efects. SWIY should give it a week or so, progressivly up his dose as he sees fit. Some metabolise codeine very poor so if he doesn't feel nice, screw it.

First of all thanks for the help, whoevers telling SWIM this. SWIM knows for a fact he can get a buzz of T3's. Before finding this site he'd pop 5 or six at a time and think nothing of it.

However once he found out how bad all the other stuff was he tried a CWE with 5 pills and 50mls of water. He got the relatively clear liquid at the bottom and the sludge in the filter.(BTW why do some people say its powder in the filter? Is SWIM doing it right if its sludgey white stuff?) Anyway the drink did not equal a high. So.. SWIM willl try the 2mls per pill with 7 pills. Its just that 14mls of water seems like nothing at all to SWIM... But if thats what works SWIM will try it.

a friend of mine has also been curious about water amounts and the like.
just a few things swim would like to mention in his experience.

typically swim uses some where between 15 and 25 8mg/500mg's which is alot of powder in a glass, he then has to use two glasses and because of this he uses maybe 3/4's of a pint glass - He thinks this is obvious just to make sure that all the codeine has a better chance of
being disolved.

When talking about T3's theres less powder to worry about and just the other day swim took possibly 6 T3's he used one glass and filled it to about half of a pint glass. He knew there wasnt to filter so less water was needed.

Swim knows glass sizes are debatable! but hopfully by using a pint glass swiy has an idea.

What he ended up doing was crushing 8 T3's in a little plastic cup, maybe 3 inches in diameter. He then added 50 mls, which according to the "2ml per pill" rule should have been more than enough, but even in such a small cup the water barely covered the powder and there was no way it was gonna dissolve it into a liquid. Instead it was like a paste, so 50 more mls' was added and that worked. So 100ml's for 8 T3's. Maybe 2mls is meant for those 8g pills dont know he's never used em.

Swim has never had any problems involving and CWE's and the amount of water. Swim never measures, and depending on a few pills to like 20, just using a shot glass of water to about 1 cup water.
