Experiences - How about an "Oxymorphone Basics" thread?

Swim was recently prescribed Opana ER from a cool doc, and has found that there is limited information about oxymorphone on the web. Swim would love to hear from other swim's about their experiences with oxymorphone/opana ER.
Swim is a snorter, and usually sticks to oxycodone. While trying to get the doc to up swims dose by telling him that "the pain is still intense, there is still breakthrough pain, is there anything you can do,? he decided to take swim off of oxycontin, keep the roxicodone and start swim on 10 (lousy) mgs of Opana ER.
Swim did some research, didn't get much information, and decided to go ahead and give it a snort. Swim felt nothing, even though the coating was completely removed.
After taking to some friends, swim was informed that the pill is relatively ineffective if snorted. So, swim took the pill orally, but still removed the coating. The effect was great, swim had a nice 'uppidy" buzz, swim had lots of energy, was very talkative, and had brief periods of euphoria. When swim took a second pill, the effect was slightly intensified with periods of nodding followed by the same upper-like buzz described above. The high didn't last long, but swim suspects that if the dose is increased, the high will intensify accordingly.
Day two, swim repeated the routine; but this time took two pills at the same time (20 mgs). Swim found that there was more nodding, and the high lasted about 4 - 5 hours as opposed to the 2 hours that swim experienced the day before. Swim cleaned the whole house, but took a few breaks to allow for the nodding. It was a good day.

Swim would love to hear some of swiy's stories/experiences with opana er.

what exactly is Oxymorphone?
is it a simular effect to oxycontin?
swim read that Oxymorphone is from thebaine, which swim beleive's Oxycontin comes from also

SWIM is confused because the oral bio-availability is significantly lower than the bio-availability of insufflation?

What's confusing about that? Insufflation means sidestepping first-pass metabolism (N-Demethylation by the liver in this case) and therefore results in a higher bioavailability.

I dont think you understand what I mean.. Read the OP post.. He was saying that he got a greater effect from taking it orally as opposed to when he snorted it.. Don't try to sound smart about that shit when you are making absolutely no sense.. Read the posts.
