taking both hydrocodone + oxycodone
SWIM was curious is the recreational effects are cumulative for both oxy and hydrocodone. SWIM wants to know if taking 20mg of oxycodone and 40mg of hydrocodone would be similar to taking 60mg of hydrcodone (SWIM knows the strength of the two aren't the same, just an approximation).

oxycodone is 2/3rds stronger than hydrocodone, example- 30 mg of oxycodone equals out to 20 mg of hydrocodone. hope that helped out some.

Yes, SWIM is thankful for that clarification, but was more curious as to if the effects of hydrocodone will build on the effects of oxycodone, if they are cumulative? Taking both being as effective as taking more of one of an equal dose.

I highly doubt this is true. I'm no md(I am a Pharm Tech though), but swim took 60 mg of hydrocodone yesterday and it wasn't even close to equalling the effect of 20 mg of oxycodone.

swim did miscalculate,
10mg hydrocodone equals 6.67mg oxycodone
meaning oxycodone is 1.5 times stronger than hydrocodone.
