does benadryl cream have the same effect as the pills?
Perhaps the answer to this is obvious but...does the topical cream form of benadryl work in the same way as taking the pill? In other words, would SWIM get a better nights sleep were he to rub some of this topical ointment on his arm?

No - it's only good for topical application. Won't make you drowsy. Maybe if you squeezed a whole tube of it up...
But it's very good for poison-ivy and bug bites.

I love benadryl cream cream it can help with tons of skin conditions from rashes to even pimples. Although pills might physically have the same effects on your body as the cream mentally it's pretty benign.
