SWIM, tried percocet and liked how it gave him the relaxed feeling, it helps him think clearer, but he was wondering what compares to it that isnt as addictive.

Re: What compares to Tramadol, percocet, etc.
Please use a descriptive thread title next time, use Oxycodone instead of Percocet, as the question is regarding the active substance. The large majority of opioids simmilar in effect to Oxycodone are also simmilarly addictive. Tramadol is a lot less addictive, so if SWIY has nice experiences with it as well, simmilar to those with Percocet, than try to stick with Tramadol instead of Oxycodone, as it's a lot less addictive. Kratom might be an option too, use the search engine to look up more info about it. Please explain what the Tramadol in the thread title has to do with SWIY's question though, as SWIY only mentions Percocet in SWIY's question but doesn't talk about Tramadol, while he does mention it in the thread title.

Re: What compares to Tramadol, percocet, etc.
Swim got psychologically hooked on tramadol, but not oxycodone or heroin. Go figure.
Swim thinks Kratom has good chance to be less addictive overall. |

Re: What compares to Tramadol, percocet, etc.
Oxycodone/Acetaminophen combo drugs (Ex. Percocet) is considerably stronger than Tramadol. Although Tramadol is considered a non-Narcotic analgesic, it still binds to the opioid receptors and reduces the uptake of 2 important neurohormones, Serotonin and norepinephrine. Although it is considered to be non habit forming, the outcome of that could cause some unwanted side effects that a weaker opiate, such as hydrocodone, would not. Any drug can cause a pattern of dependence, however, depending on how much of any particular opiate is taken and the frequency, severe dependence can most certainly be avoided.
