Last time I went there was one called 'Shwartz', It sold some good Chronic. You won't miss it, it has a big sign with a silver border, which is what drawn me to it.

Good coffeeshops: Greenhouse, Siberie, Abraxus, Sensi, Homegrown Fantasy, Barney's, Katsu, Bluebird, Dampkring, Grey Area, Rokerij, Dutch Flowers, Bagheera, Happy Days, Border, Extase, Stix, Rusland, and Amnesia. Just to name a few. Don't forget to check out he smart shops. Conscious Dreams is my fave.


CBR1000~ Stay away from the street dealers (rip off, pickpockets, thieves). Go to some of the sited while there (Van Gogh museum, Rembrandt's house/museum, Ann Frank house, canal boat tours, flower market, street performers at Leidseplein, Vondel Park, Rijksmuseum, and the Hash, Marijuana, and Hemp Museum. The hookers are in the Red Light District. You can find almost anything you want there in the ways of sex. Fetish galore. You might also want to check out the live sex shows. Which are always fun.

The hookers are in the Red Light District definatly a cool part of Amsterdam. There are many cool things to see in Amsterdam some which BlueMystic mentioned, but aswell there are funny things on the streets such as Vodka in vending machines and Bike Parkacades which I thought was funny.

There is another, smaller red light area in Amsterdam, on the
Ruysdaelkade. I think it is more for locals, there's always lots of
shady dudes hanging out there for the girls, but not so many wack
junkies as in the main Red Light district. There are also some brothels
in and around the Spuistraat/Singel...kind of near the Western side of
the train station. Whatever you do, please avoid the streetwalkers--
they are mostly drug addicts and illegal immigrants and are much more
likely to have a disease or get you involved in a dodgy situation.

De overkant hortus has some nice special deals. Expesnive, but try the Christmas pollen from Rokerij, the one at the top of the Singel canal.

SWIMs too going to pay a visit soon enough. Kokopelli(Consious dreams) is propably reliable and fairly priced smart shop? How much cheaper would it be in towns nearby? What about quality? SWIMs propably paying visit rokerij, noon and propably some others more near vondelpark.
