Effects - Taking LSD for first time tonight.

Im picking up some Acid later on tonight. Im going to take it by myself in my room tonight. Ive heard good stories about this particular batch. I believe its 450 mg but i could be wrong. Anyways Do you think this is a bad idea on a count of i still live with my parents. Ive done shrooms a couple times. Another question. I hear its very hard to fall asleep after your trips done. Any suggestions on falling asleep?

First of all, read the rules about self-incrimination on this forum. If you don't follow them, you'll be banned.

Second, 450 mics is not a light dose, and Someone Who Isn't You should definitely not attempt this unless he's done high quantities of psychedelics before. The chances of SWIY getting overwhelmed by the effects first time around are pretty high. Remember that when someone is that messed up, there is little chance of them looking and acting as anything other than extremely messed up, and doing this in front of parents before whom SWIY presumably must keep a sober facade is just asking for trouble.

On top of that, no matter what SWIY has been told, it's very hard to know what exactly is on the blotter. It could be a research chemical, a DO(x) variant or some tryptamine, and its effects could potentially last a lot longer than intended.

SWIM would strongly advise SWIY to wait, and do this when the time and place are right. SWIY should be around people he can trust, who are familiar and comfortable with his intentions.

Yup, trips in the family home generally don't result in good situations. Please don't do it.

As a youngster SWIM once had to have sunday lunch with his parents on shrooms (him, not them). The word "nightmare" simply can't do it justice.

Here's a tip for falling asleep on acid, don't! It's too fun to sleep!

Now that aside, I do agree that a SWIY should not trip in the family home. It is not a good idea unless you are in complete control of your environment.
