Amanita Muscaria first time

SWIM has obtained some dried Amanita Muscaria and wants to know if starting his hallucinogen experiments with Amanita is a good idea or not.

SWIM would also like to know if a sitter is absolutely necessary on low doses of 10g or less. SWIM read jamesarthur.net and saw that 25g is a heroic does and now thinks that 5-10g would be a light trip to get used to the experience somewhat.

You have no idea how much active compounds are in any given mushroom. Amanita Muscaria varies from muchroom to mushroom and location to location and season. But Arthur was a good authority. There is a guy named Hawk the "Soma Shaman" who warns not to injest Amanita that you purchase, He aslo has written a book and stuff. He has a lot of experience. I do not know if I trust him but he is worth reading.

Yeah...I know. But he also says not to do it yourself. And also he "claims" that there is some secret to preparation and sells a book and DVD I think. But the thing is I just do not know what to think. Whether he knows what he is sating or he is just ego driven like saying he is the only one to know what he is doing. Which he implies. Ther is also a video of him on youtube showing off and eating an Amanita Phalloidies. Which is about the most deadly shromm in the world. He says he can do it because of some "secret" ways. And that showing off stuff kina makes me wonder about him. He does say that he eats Amanita Muscaria every day. I imagine he knows a lot about them. He does warn not to ever purchase them on the internet. But I do not know.
