Does anyone know where swim can go to get things like sub or methadone? with out doctors knowing? swims been on oxy's 80mg at 10 per day and just cant afford it, or prob still use as there is def no high, just "normal" feeling but cant keep up, and really would like to try something or see someone in Canada BC island, to talk to about programs to go into, or whats covered, i just dont feel doctor will help, swim has deteriating disc ,problems all over,and does need for pain,but seemed whereever was pain worsten doc didnt' hlep so swim went to streets to buy and this is how it happened, at firsst helped pain, tthen there was a missrabble person who was now enjoying walks as couldnt andjust did things he couldnt' before,(hench upping dose) as attivites got more harder, as was into MixMartialArts,and had to be tough, now swim is no longer into it after 20yrs, and needs toclean up, swim called places but the stress levels of seening someone is killing him, to no seek help,but 800mg daily he just cant afford, and wanted to try other things to help,but who can one speak to?

Swiy will find that there are new detox clinics being put on this site daily for various addiction also swiy should look for local help groups they may be able to advise swiy better on what to do and where to go, swiy shouldn't feel alone as on this site there are alot of fishes going through similar situations. honestly with your habit of 800mg a day, which is massive, swim suggests going on a methadone clinic, just do a google search for clinics in your area. some benefits of it are youd be saving alot of money, you wont feel the frantic need to score, you can engage in other revreational activities most addicts put off, you can feel stable/normal through out the day instead of the constant highs and lows addicts feel as they use comedown and need to use again.
swims on the clinic and its the best choice ive ever made, i feel normal, the only sacrafice you make is taking 20 minutes out of your day to go get dosed, which is nothing considering most opiate addicrs spend their whole day trying to get drugs and money for drugs.

Thanks people,swim just sooooo stressed about admiting to anyone that swim uses so much, as so wouldnt' belive, as i'm far from out of it, and it's just happened over years,swim is sick of it,but problem is swim is afraid to let others know,iknow lots on here have same prolems and this is a start.swim WANTS to change life and be normal, but also afraid if stop will swim go through pain and get classified as an abusers,this is why afraid. Swim has lowerred to 2 -80's a day at one time but seems to go up again, people here seem to now exactly what swims going threw,and are simpathectic . AS you'd know it's VERYVERY hard,but it's time to stop or somehow get to the perscibed dose,as i act nomral, but if swim runs low, gets crazy,wondering how to aford rent/bills and justify it.So if one wanted, you just look up methadone clinics and tell them?do you have to say who doctor is? swims been in hospital few times,due to pain,even though use so much and afraid to get "labeled" thanks so much for your info,and sometimes swim says this is itand at night,legs/back hurt so bad have to pop something or be up most night,. Iguess have to see, just wish i had a support local that i could get help from who knows how to do things, as stress if def enemy number 1. but time is time.Need to get life in order.

man, theres nothing to be afraid of, swim says if you go to a clinic the people you talk to there wont be surprised or shocked by hearing about your habit, the workers there talk to thousands addicts with habits ranging from far less to far more than yours all the time.. same thing if you choose to see a private doctor about suboxone he aint gonna judge you.

i admitt its hard to talk to family and friends about it, swims family found a bunch of his used needles in a drawer, awkward to say the least. but you dont have to tell them right away or ever if you really dont wannt to. the most important thing to do is to get help now, i doubt you can do it on your own with your habit, swim certainly couldnt. swim tried countless times to stop by himself also tried 12 inpatient detoxes, methadones the only thing that helped swim.

this is going to be the hardest thing youll ever have to do, so what better time than now.
