Experiences - Ketamine, car, k'hole(?), vomit, horrific.

The title about sums up SWIM's experience. He was at a party and had a fair amount to drink, he and 2 friends then left in his friends car. SWIM had done a small line of K at the party but when in the car he decided to finish off this old bit of K that he'd had since December. When he got this K out it transpired that it was far more than he'd anticipated but persuaded by his friends he did it all in one go.

SWIM has never K-holed before or done anywhere near enough K to experience this, he thinks that he must've K-holed this time however. He was sitting in the back of the car while his friend drove round these dark country roads as they ventured towards London, SWIM completely lost track of where he was, he didn't know he was in a car and everything had melted. All he knew was that he was hurtling towards his death, he envisioned himself as a fleshy glow and he was with two other fleshy glows. These were "life-forces" and SWIM was watching the different forces move around in the mist (which he guesses was the world/atmosphere). SWIM basically realised that he was expendable and that he would die on that night, he was resigned to his fate but also didn't want it to happen. He saw the futility of his life and his utter historical insignificance, he also sort of felt the sorrow and disappointment of his parents in the wake of his death. There was also a sense that he would inevitably be stopped by the police, searched, have his DNA put into the database and get a criminal record.

Anyway these were scary thoughts and (unlike with other drugs) SWIM was unable to tell himself that the drugs were what were having this effect. To him, this misty, fleshy world was reality. Eventually he was able to see a little bit and the car was still sort of melted, he at least became aware that he was in a car and that was what was causing him to move. It was very confusing as I'm sure you can imagine. At this point (he thinks) he began to feel hot/flustered and ill. He was sitting in the back and did his best to vomit out of the window. The driver then pulled over and SWIM stumbled out of the car and vomited some more. He then took the front seat so as to have access to the window and continued vomiting as they drove along. SWIM was in a nasty state with no tissues etc and he is worried about how badly his friends car was trashed. At some point soon after, the driver stopped off in a service station/macdonalds off the motorway. This was confusing for SWIM, he asked his friend for water/tissues and his friend went to get them but it seems that there were a load of chavs (tracksuit wearing/violent youths) who started hassling SWIM's friend. The driver then got back in the car (without tissues/water) and we made to leave but the chav was blocking the road (shouting "what you gonna run me over?"). SWIM's friend drove towards the guy and he moved out of the way, punching the car window really hard as they went past.

For the rest of the journey SWIM gradually regained his senses and was able to speak, he was still extremely fucked though and totally disoriented. He lost his drugs (although there probably wasn't much left) and his wallet. He hopes they are in the car and the driver won't be so pissed off with SWIM that he keeps them and says they are not there (he doesn't think his friend would do this but he isn't sure what exactly happened).

SWIM now knows he massively underestimated the K and the amount needed to K hole. He also knows that:
1. Never mix K with booze.
2. Never take K in the car (the movement perhaps caused his sickness?)
3. Be wary of taking old K (can it expire and is this a reason why he was sick?).
4. Stick to seriously lower doses of K.

That was probably one of the worst experiences SWIM has had with drugs. If the actual "trip" wasn't bad enough, the loss of his possessions and the anxiety over the state of his friends car + the burden he put on his friends makes matters far worse.

Some hard lessons learnt. Combining ketamine with alcohol is a major no-no. In order to take a considerable dose of ketamine, one needs to be in a relaxed controlled environment free from stress. A nice big armchair or a bed is best.

SWIM can definitely see that now but he's not sure he ever wants to K-hole again. He likes to retain a degree of self-control but being unable to speak/move and unaware of what was happening around him was no fun. He's done shrooms before and had bad trips but never anything like that, with shrooms it was more his friends getting on his nerves whereas on this occasion it was genuinely disturbing.

This happened to SWIM, without as much visuals. He was coming up on 2 hits of acid after doing lines of K for the first time. 30 minutes later he had an ill feeling in a car, incredibly hot and was seeing slowmotion flashes. He was dehydrated after eating a pretzel and could taste the k coming up and had to puke out the window. Not fun, if only SWIM had a drink.

Have to disagree.
Ketamine and Special Brew was my sloth's breakfast of choice when he used to go to site parties.

Perhaps not for everyone though.

In SWIM's personal experience combining ketamine with alcohol can be enjoyable, but both have to be in very low doses. When he did it SWIM had only had about 3 beers and a small key of ket, the k increased the feeling of drunkenness and made for a good laugh with a couple of friends.

Doing it in massive amounts is always silly. With drugs moderation is important.
