Opinions - so i over heard an interesting convo

i was in a diner and swim was pondering a very interesting idea. you know how if you were going to do something that was legal , but had many risks, you could go to a dr and he would do 1001 services to make sure you could do the activity, he would tell you evrything from foods to avoid, medication that might cause a problem, run all sorts of tests etc etc etc.




swim than went on wondering if you could find a doc who would do the same exact stuff based on an activity that might not be legal. right off the bat swim said he would never expect a doc to rx oxycontin to make sure he didnt get himself killed with herioin, but what about other stuff like tests on ur heart or letting you know the REAL!!! deal about what to do if swiy takes a little too much of a stimulant. do any swiys think a doc could go out of his typical "no no no no no" attitude and actually do stuff like that to a certain degree

haha not likely in Canada where health care is socialized. Try justifying spending taxpayers money on testing drug users to make sure they were still ok. They sometimes have qualms about treating smokers [even for non smoking related issues like stitches to a cut or something] and that is legal. Way too big of a stereotype. Not saying I personally have an opinion on the matter but it would become way to political.
