Drug info - Oxycodone mg Vs. Oxycontin mg

Is 5 mg of Oxycodone the same as 5 mg of Oxycontin?
Because from what i understand the only difference between the two would be that Oxycontin is time released
SWIM has some pills that have Ethex 041 on the pill and they are 5 mg oxycodones

Eh, not really..

Oxycontin is oxycodone continuous release .. While most pills you get containing 5mg of oxycodone will usually be instant release.

if there is no ace(apap) in the pill then it is esentially the same thing as oxycontin. bloot is right about the OXYcodone CONTINuous release. oxycontin uses talc filler along with oxycodone-the same as an IR oxycodone pill only more dense so it takes 10-12 hours to fully dissolve. thats why you can wash the coating off an oxy. if you tried to wash an IR or a perc you would get mush.
