Pharmacology - "DL" meth?

There's l-methamphetamine which is weak and D-methamphetamine, which is the psychostimulant that gives the best euphoric effects

but SWIM read in his meth cookbook (secrets of meth manufacture by fester) that "d,l-meth gives the best buzz....

D,L-meth is a racemate, basically a 50-50 mixture of the two stereoisomers. Look it up if interested.

Fester's books seem to contain many inaccuracies (see Chem forum). Theoretically, a normal dose of d,l-meth would be slightly less than double the dose of d-meth. The possibility of synergies might exist.
