Tolerance - any swims ever been through withdrawl , not knowing what it was.

When I was in the hospital for two months i was perscribed 20mg of oc twice a day for 6 weeks. i had never even smoked pot and had no idea what opiates were. One day the doctors put me on neurontin for the pain and took me off oc cold turkey. for 4 days i was like the girl from the exorsist. Plus i couldnt walk or anything and it was soo frightening. drs are so dumb, even the psychiatrist couldnt figure it out and i was left to suffer. That was the first and last time i had to detox. I think going through that and not even knowing what its from is beyond insaine.



also is 40 mg's of oc taken the right way , which i think is more addicting physically because its like a steady stream of it 24/7, for 6 weeks and stopped cold turkey heavy duty as far as a detox. i couldnt imagine anything worse.

The first time SWIM experienced withdrawal he had no idea wtf was going on for a day or two; as SWIM thought he was being clever and spacing out SWIMS use enough. Turns out he wasn't. At first swim though he was incredibly depressed, anxious, miserable, and had the flu, but then as it got worse over the next few days and SWIM had not slept, was crawling out of his skin, teeth chattering, sweating, cold no matter how many blankets, nauseous, unable to hold still ect; SWIM tried taking a dose of oxycodone and the symptoms immediately temporarily dissipated.

And there began SWIM's unfortunate plummet into the trap that is opioid dependence.

So yah, it can be kind of scary if you don't know that you're in opioid withdrawal at first and are going through it.

the 1st time swim went through withdrawl, he took 10mg of hydrocodone, 1st opiate swim's ever done, ever. swim barely remembers the high, exept he wanted to be in a purple room, chillin on a beanbag, with some stp or something playing. then while he was comming down, he had to puke SOOOO bad, but didnt. then after that went away, swim's leg kept twitching manicly. since swim wasnt sick anymore, swim found it amusing that this was acute withdrawl.
