Everyone is different and it depends on what you say is "addicted" my personal deffinition that i have devoloped through a few rehab groups is "You are only addicted when you cannot go without the drug". For every person will be different in the time it takes and how bad the addiction is. So i would say when you cannot function with out the drug and you cannot step away from the drug and go cold turkey that's when addiction begins i belive

As with everything else it varies between individuals.


Smoking opium makes you addicted faster than eating, but breaking an eating habit is harder than beating a smoking habit.
