Drug info - Was SWIM tricked? LSD Tolerance (again)

A few days ago SWIM found some acid. SWIM has done it once before in his life time, he did 1 hit that time and had a decent trip. Nothing amazing but a little something. This time SWIM ate 2 hits on altoids and got a very small effect, like that when its just starting to kick in. SWIY notices it but nothings really going on and after a few hours that tapered off. SWIM got these altoids and put them in a small paper envelop for the time being and after that SWIM put them in a plastic bag and wrapped them in tin foil for 1 day. When SWIM ate them he waited, after 2 hours SWIM got an upset stomach for a short period, and after 4 SWIM still noticed nothing. SWIM awoke the next morning with a headache and an upset stomach.

SWIM is wondering if it was the storage method or perhaps just SWIMs body that made this not work or was it just bad? SWIM is pretty disappointed

Storage sounds ok. It should not degrade that much in that short of a period of time. It is probably not LSD or not enough. Many things can be put in a liquid form and dropped on an altoid. An upset stomach could be a chemical or placebo. Try using a black light see if you can see a glow. If yes it might be LSD, but might not

I'll tell SWIM exactly what happened. This from a professional in the field. And the use of the search-engine would have had the same result:

LSD, and other major psychedelics, cause tolerance to the effects within hours of the initial dose. The tolerance lasts for about one week. Sometimes longer. With a tolerance, SWIM could have eaten a whole damn sheet with little effect. SWIM's serotonin level was effected by dose #1. Tolerance results. SWIM wasted his LSD (or whatever) by not researching this.

Next time SWIM is anxious to visit the purple people of planet Zorp, tell SWIM to be patient after his last visit.

This was the first time SWIM had eaten any in over a year, I dunno if that was clear or not. Others who had the same got effects out of it though SWIM is just confused as to why his didn't work.

problly not lsd or or a different compound measured incorrectly. (which could be why one felt and one did not) some one could drop an active substance on some altoids. the chemical will effect everyone different, this is why you get stomach pain and others didnt. one does get a tolerance to lsd after the first hit but doubling the does should still feel something. Try a black light see if it has specles that glow. If it does it might be LSD other than this know one can really tell one what is on an altoid or why id did not work.
