Kava (tranquilizer) and Cocaine (stimulant)

Swim is planning to try this combination tonight, although he will go easy on both as they have slightly contrasting effects. Has anyone had any experiences before?

As a tranquilizer, kava potentiates GABA activity but does not alter dopamine or serotonin.

As a stimulant, cocaine inhibits the reuptake of dopamine and serotonin, increasing their levels.

This seems like a safer combination than alcohol and cocaine, even though alcohol also increases GABA activity, it is more of a depressant than kava.

[edit: a drug report will be posted next week, swim's drug availability has changed]

Re: Kava (tranquilizer) and Cocaine (stimulant)

As projected, swim found that the cocaine worked very well to counter the drowsy effects of kava. He only used about two decent sized lines. Swim found the experience very comparable to alcohol and cocaine, but the cocaine sobered swim up more than if he had drank alcohol. A good mix nonetheless, as long as not a lot of cocaine is used because the combination could be harmful.

Re: Kava (tranquilizer) and Cocaine (stimulant)

Mixing alcohol and cocaine will produce cocaethylene as a metabolic byproduct in your body, inducing greater euphoria and longer duration of effects, but also putting more strain on the body.

Mixing kava and cocaine doesn't seem like it would be as harmful. I've posted on mixing adderall and kava before, a good combination, though my panda mixes the two to offset any undesirable side effects from the amphetamines, not to counter any effects of the kava, as he doesn't find that kava makes him very drowsy at all.
