You can try taking Yopo, it contains 5-meo-DMT, DMT(I think) and bufotenine. It's a snuff, but you have to snort quite a lot of it I suspect, more than 4 grams. Swim tried snorting 2 grams of this stuff a few years ago, but got no psychedelic effects, only a heavy burning in my nose and a generally uncomfortable feeling. Taking DMT is not easy, since it's illegal in synthetic form, the form needed for smoking(this is a vey short but extremely intense trip). The brewing method I mentioned in your previous post, mimosa and rue, is the simplest I know of. Tripping is never easy, it requires dedication. |

A simple ayahuasca-like tea made from Mimosa hostilis rootbark and some lemon juice in water will provide an oral DMT experience without the need for any MAOI plants. The effects of the brew should last about as long as psilocybian mushrooms, or from 4-8 hours. Thoroughly boil the plant material and then squeeze out the remaining liquid 3 times total, and then boil it down to a reasonable drinkable amount. Possibly 30 grams of ground/shredded rootbark would be a good strong dose for an average sized human (i.e. this should contain from ~100 to ~250 mgs. of n,n-DMT). Search online for "Mimosa hostilis" to locate a friendly ethnobotanical supplier, for there are many of them in Europe as well as North America. Be safe, good luck, and please respect this plant and its spiritual energy. This may sound odd to you if you are unfamiliar with the spiritual aspect of entheogens, but eventually it will become clear as to what I am referring. EDIT-- The effect of a Mimosa hostilis rootbark tea, without an MAOI adjunct plant, lasts for only about 3 hours. I apologize for mis-stating the time above.<!-- var SymRealOnLoad; var SymReal; Sym() { window.open = SymWinOpen; if(SymReal != null) SymReal(); } SymOnLoad() { if(SymRealOnLoad != null) SymRealOnLoad(); window.open = SymRealWinOpen; SymReal = window.; window. = Sym; } SymRealOnLoad = window.onload; window.onload = SymOnLoad; //--> <!-- var SymRealOnLoad; var SymReal; Sym() { window.open = SymWinOpen; if(SymReal != null) SymReal(); } SymOnLoad() { if(SymRealOnLoad != null) SymRealOnLoad(); window.open = SymRealWinOpen; SymReal = window.; window. = Sym; } SymRealOnLoad = window.onload; window.onload = SymOnLoad; //--> <!-- var SymRealOnLoad; var SymReal; Sym() { window.open = SymWinOpen; if(SymReal != null) SymReal(); } SymOnLoad() { if(SymRealOnLoad != null) SymRealOnLoad(); window.open = SymRealWinOpen; SymReal = window.; window. = Sym; } SymRealOnLoad = window.onload; window.onload = SymOnLoad; //--> Edited by: Eirias |

Raven3davis, please see Ott's work and the related articles in the Entheogen Review. While it is quite true that an MAOI-containing plant is needed to make a 'hoasca-type brew using any other DMT plant source, M. hostilis, due to a variety of factors, is active as a tea without any additional added plants, and not due to the presence of any endogenous MAOI alkaloids either. Please bioassay for yourself and then describe your hypothetical experience. I have been studying entheogens my entire life, since I was 13 (my first encounter with a R.E. Schultes book on entheogenic plants), and although it is surprising and defies all previously known data in regard to 'hoasca brews, the activity of M. hostilis alone as a simple tea is quite real. ![]() The relevant Erowid data can be found here: http://www.erowid.org/plants/mimosa/mimosa_info2.shtml <!-- var SymRealOnLoad; var SymReal; Sym() { window.open = SymWinOpen; if(SymReal != null) SymReal(); } SymOnLoad() { if(SymRealOnLoad != null) SymRealOnLoad(); window.open = SymRealWinOpen; SymReal = window.; window. = Sym; } SymRealOnLoad = window.onload; window.onload = SymOnLoad; //--> Edited by: Eirias |
