pseudoephedrine is too risky to buy?
SWIM would very much like to make some METHCATHIONE but she is afraid of buying pseudoephedrine. She says her particular state records personal ID for *any* amount of pseudoephedrine purchased. All nearby states have the same laws. This information is available for up to 2 years for all kinds of assholes: spies, creepy government types who camp outside homes...
What to do? What is the maximum number of pseudoephedrine packages that SWIM could theoretically buy without alerting authorities?

Re: pseudoephedrine is too risky to buy?
Meth is seen by US authorities as a problem equivalent, if not more serious, than the crack epidemic in the 80s. For that reason pseudoephedrine is carefully monitored and I am pretty sure there is an actual limit on how much a person can purchase in one day. I wouldn't suggest buying from different stores either because who knows what agencies are checking these records and with how much diligence. You're going to have to find an alternative source, such as what tinytom suggested (I don't know anything about getting ephedrine HCl unfortunately). As for suggestions, I really don't have any because I've never been faced with this problem (I don't use meth). SWIY might want to look into online pharmacies as products with psuedoephedrine in them are unscheduled and probably readily available.
