Drug info - took blotter acid and didn't trip

Last night and about 2 months ago, i took a hit of good blotter acid and i didn't trip either time, my friends were tripping balls each time. Is there certain things you can't expect when you take this teasing drug? (cause i expect to trip usually, and one of my friends told me not to do this because it would cause me not to trip).

Sorry if it's very mixed up i just got done staying up 12 hours babbysitting people on 2-5 hits of high power blotter acid.

Do you need a certain mindset when going into acid?
Can you not be nevous?
Can you not expect to trip?
Do you need a certain Enzyme to trip?

just a few things that i think might have caused me not to trip.

Also so you know, i've never tripped to a point where it's fun, i ate like a gram of goldcap mushrooms because i got them for free and it seemed like a tripped minorly, but i haven't done anything potent which i tripped on.
