New to poppies - just ingested some - a few questions
Hey guys, I just got my first ever poppy pods in the mail today. After reading erowid and this site, I decided on grinding them and eating the powder with yogurt.
I'm 230 pounds and it generally takes me 3 or 4 lortab "10's" to achieve a nice feeling. What I did was grind up one very large pod and about 4 or 5 small to medium ones. I measured the powder by ounces, it made 2.5-3.0 ounces. God, it tasted nasty even mixed with the peach yogurt ![]() Do you people think this was a big enough dose to get me feeling good based on my weight and tolerance? I did it about 30 minutes ago and I'm not feeling it yet... Thoughts? Thanks in advance! |

The time it takes depends on your individual metabolism, time between last meal, and potency of that particular poppy pod. If you have a pretty full stomach or slow metabolism, it may take up to 1:30 to start feeling anything. If after that you still dont feel anything, you could have a combo of both. The preferred method for poppy pods is probably tea. If nothing this time, try that next time.

Depends on your pods too, some pods are really shit, you can grind 20 of them and still feel nothing. Gigantenums are the best. You have probably ordered weak pods, or perhaps it will take some time to come with regards to your method of ingestion. Next time try making a tea.
