Purity - DOB or ACID?

SWIM has never taken acid before and he was wondering if he might have actually taken DOB instead.

SWIM notices an acidic taste. It took 1-1.5 hours before he felt a little buzz, like smoking a small amount of marijuana.
After about 2.5-3 hours, the effects kicked in suddenly and very hard for SWIM. He said his heart was beating really fast and he had the shivers.
He says everthing looked really vivid and bright and when he loooked down at his shoes they looked cartoony and really big.
He says that he felt like he was in a different world. Time had no concept for SWIM.
Then emotion, thoughts, and the high were coming in waves, up and down, up and down, SWIM was completly detached from reality.
SWIM felt like he was constantly peaking up and down every few minutes. SWIM coudn't focus. Emotions and thoughts that SWIM never knew existed were rotating
through him. Every moment a new emotion and thought would come to SWIM in waves, along with the peaking up and down highs. The emotions that SWIM was feeling
where emotions that he never had before, or knew existed. It was just a constant cycle of emotion/thoughts exploding through SWIMs body/mind very fast.
SWIM felt extremly confused and uncomfortable. SWIM couldn't remember where, who, what, he was... Time didn't exist in any form for SWIM.
SWIM was convinced that it had been years since he dropped acid and that we was totally insane and trapped in this existance forever. Who was SWIM?
Where was he? Whats going on for him? SWIM was so high that he could not explain in any words how it felt. SWIMs heart was racing so fast, he realised that these thoughts
and emotions were racing through him superfast. One of SWIMs friends who dropped with SWIM was talking so fast that SWIM could not even understand a word.
This is how fast thoughts were moving through SWIMs head too. Holy crap! SWIM couldnt talk much though. SWIM felt exasperated.
Everything in SWIMs vision was begining to move very slow, at a few frames per second. It was clipping. It was like SWIMs thoughts were moving so fast
and everything eles was going at a normal speed, which to SWIM was very slow, 1-5 frames per second. SWIMs emotions blasted through his body just as fast as his thoughts.
It was like SWIM had every thought and every emotion that ever existed go through him at the same time. SWIM was so confused and detached from reality/space/time.
It was like SWIM was exposed to every possible action, reaction, idea, existance, mood, feeling, emotion, for every givin moment to experience and didn't know what to do.
For example, SWIM wanted to watch a movie. He stopped and questioned why he was going to watch a movie, Should he watch it? is he suppose to watch it?
What is he suppose to do? Why is he doing anything at all? Where is he? Wait, SWIM said, SWIMs confused. At one point SWIM questioned the meaning of life.
SWIM felt so confused that he couldn't even remember where he lived, his name or who he was. SWIM had a very dry mouth but he didn't realise was dry until he
tried to stuff a cracker into his mouth and was then forced to take it out with his fingers becuase it turned into glue in his mouth.
SWIM sat down on the couch and when he got up, he was confused with what he was doing or why he even got up in the first place.
SWIM was questioning everything because, he seemed to have forgotten everything. He felt like he was a 2 year old child discovering life for the first time.
This is what its like to be insane, SWIM muttered. SWIM then realised that insane people must know some of the truth to life, all these new emotions and
thoughts that came to SWIMs mind in an non-orderly, insane fashion, they must go through this too. If there is such thing as being insane, this is it.
This is too much experience for SWIMs mind or body to handle. It was like dipping SWIMs mind into the stream of god and all the experience that came with, rushed him at once.
It was overloading SWIMs brain and causing his system to shut down. SWIM couldn't make sense of it.
Can you say massive confusion? SWIM has never been that high before in his life. The high as SWIM describs it, came in waves.
The whole trip was an up and down rollercoasting of thoughts, emotion, and confusion for SWIM. SWIM began to anticipate the highs and lows as they came and went.
SWIM was high, wide awake and unable to sleep for 14-16 hours. SWIM felt groggy and could still feel slight effects when he woke up, although he was not tripping.

While no one can do anything but guess as regards the chemical involved, it does sound as though it was not LSD25 that SWIM had taken. This being due to the length of time before effects were felt. As well as duration. However no one can say, with a hint of certainty, what it truly was. I would council that one reads more literature about the effects of methoxylated-amphetamine based psychedelics and compare notes.

Great report! Brought back chills to my friend who used to seek out blotters in particular because they had what was assumed to be DOB on the blotters. It sounds exactly like those trips and he found them extremely enjoyable. As Panthers said, it definitely is not LSD, most likely a DOx compound.

There is always a post or two floating around here about this subject, people just need to stop putting DOx onto blotters or anything being sold under the guise of LSD. It's just a little old now and even if real LSD25 made it's way onto blotters, it would most likely be shunned because of people's distrust towards this whole situation. Also swim never gets tired of hearing "my blotter tasted a little funny! GOD DAMMIT!"

But other than my cynicism towards this, Great report man!

i agree with the other postings. definitely not LSD-25. swim has taken dob and agrees that it tastes metallic. when he did it he didnt really have much color visualisations, more of physical hallucinations. it seems yours was very similar to his trip. by what you described it definitely sounds like a psychedelic amphetamine but which one, i couldnt tell you. it sucks that the people you all know get sold fake shit, its not really a problem for swim, though he does enjoy dob very much and kind of wishes he could find some these days.
