Interesting! Swim always thought there was some mythical chemical reaction between ethanol and diazepam that seemed particularly alluring, as opposed to either alone (ie: in testing). Almost reminds me of when cocaine and alcohol is combined, cocaethynol is created and more dangerous that then either two combined. Chloral Hydrate and Alcohol (A "Mickey") make Chloral Alcholate, which can surpress breathing. Alcohol does seem to make a lot of unique chemical cousins!
