Zolpidem Tartrate - Wise To Take Again

Swim has taken zolpidem on and off with a large time between prescription.
an example is that he started it for a month two years ago and two months later again for a month as his ritalin was keeping him awaking pre-examinations. two years passed before he was prescribed it again for one month, during this time he took it as prescribed for about 15 days then he decided to experiment with snorting the zolpidem, sometimes a good slumber ensued other times a short intense effect was felt that rapidly dissapated and on a few occasions no effect was to be had (most likely when ritalin was snorted just hours beforehand). he must state that when consuming ritalin intranassally (which is frequently if not 1 to 2 times a day) that his cigarette consumption doubles as a result. he is currently tapering his dose of ritalin and is experiencing more acute insomnia than when on his original dose. he is wondering whether or not it is wise to obtain another prescription for zolpidem to couteract the withdrwal effects of ritalin causing insomnia if he is liable to at some point or another snort the zolpidem. he states clearly that he probably snorts zolpidem as he is so used to snorting ritalin that snorting anything is part of the habit one way or another.

any help or opinions would be appreciated in this time of withdrawal for Swim where he doesn't know if he is coming or going half the time.

on a side note the tapering of the dose is intended to eventually acheive an all together stop in ritalin use in conjuction with psychotherapy and medical supervision.

Re: Zolpidem Tartrate - Wise To Take Again

swim advises melatonin instead, swiy would regret snorting them, and theyre fairly effective sleep aids, though theyve no recreational value.
