Negative Conotation Associated w/ "Research Chemicals" - Legal and Illegal

It seems many of us are familar with the term research chemical and what it is. However, it seems that "research chemical" has a somewhat negative conotation in regards to its use in psychedelic or drug forums. Many forums don't even allow the term to be used or the substances under that category to be discussed.

Although out of the many illegal research chemicals and analogs of illegals that there has to be some that can be considered legal. What would these be? Could there be terms to distinguish between illegal/analogs and ones that are almost completely legal within laymans understanding of the law. And what about those that just come out on the market (1-2 years ago) that haven't even been documented on all that much. How do they fit into the picture?

This somewhat broad topic has been stumping me for several months now...

What is legal very much depends on the country...for discussion on what is legal in the US look here http://www.drugs-forum.com/forum/sho...27s#post398396

The thread in the law and order forum essentially covers this then. Would be good to keep all discussions in the same place tho I dunno if rc's or law and order is better.
